Our Fantastic Mind Map

We made a mind map today in order to make connections to our central idea.  We will use our mind map to lead our inquiry later in the unit.  Some of the questions that we asked today were:

- Why is the brain so connected to our unit?
- Why are people unique?
- Why is reading important?
- Do we synthesize differently every time we read a book again?
- Is it important to synthesize ideas?
- What is literature?
- When you see a movie before you read a book, do you think about it differently?
- When people read, why do they think differently?
- Can you express your ideas through books?

In addition to these questions, some of us wrote statements or drew pictures as a response to our mind map.
